Common questions
How do I get a price?
Send me a message with a few photos, your postcode and a short description of the job. For most jobs I can give you a rough idea straight away. Some jobs I’ll need to see in person before I can price them properly.
Is any job too small?
No. Small jobs are exactly what I’m here for — the ones bigger firms often don’t want to take on. If it’s on your list, ask me about it.
What areas do you cover?
I’m based in Darlington and cover County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire. How far I travel depends on the size of the job, so send your postcode and I’ll confirm whether I can get to you.
How do you take payment?
We’ll agree that when we discuss the job. I’ll always explain what the work involves and what it’ll cost before I start.
Do you do electrical, gas or plumbing work?
For anything electrical, gas or major plumbing you’ll need a qualified, registered tradesperson. I stick to the jobs I can do properly and I’ll tell you if yours needs a specialist.
