Travel and coverage

Much of the town is old stone property, a good deal of it in the conservation area, so the work leans towards the careful end — decorating around features you can’t simply paint over, matching existing finishes, and repairs where sympathetic beats quick. The dale spreads out well beyond the town, and out there the villages are often no further for me than Barney itself, so it’s worth asking wherever you are in Teesdale. Being the longest run west, it suits a few jobs grouped into one visit.
